Footballer Baichung Bhutia Wins Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

After all the weeks of countless dances throughout this whole season, only one became India's favorite. And your winner is ...football star Baichung Bhutia. After his dance routines were praised by the judges, the junta seems to agree as well. Soap star Gauhar ended up in second place while the hot TV actor Karan Grover was in third. Even after the upset elimination of Hard Kaur on the show, the judges all agreed that Baichung deserved to be holding the winning trophy. Baichung gave his thanks to his dance partner Sonia and thanked his wife Madhuri Bhutia for supporting him throughout this competition. According to sources, Baichung has become the first male to win this show after the last two seasons winners are female.

From stiff, inexpressive football star Baichung went on to be a fun contestant who is eager to take on challenges and push himself to do the unthinkable. His experiments and choreographer Sonia's talent and grit to get the footballer move in ways we've never seen before, has paid off.

The grand finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 had a big grand finale with performances by actors Mona Singh, Prachi Desai, Hussain Kuwajerwala and none other than the sexy Mallika Sherawat. Prachi Desai and Mona Singh were the winners of previous seasons of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

A source from the sets informed, "The finale started with all the eliminated jodis performing a Qawali after which Mona Singh, Prachi Desai and Hussain Kuwajerwala performed individually with the finalists. Mona Singh danced with Baichung Bhutia on Aaila Re Ladki Badi Mast .....Prachi Desai with Karan Singh Grover on the title track of Hum Tum and Hussain Kuwajerwala performed on a Dhoom 2 number with Gauhar Khan. And the hot and sexy Mallika Sherawat performed on a popular dance number and her performance made the grand finale actually happening and grand one."

Actress Malaika Arora Khan made an appearance on the show and danced for everyone.
